About Blazestars
Blazestars is a revolutionary website providing a social network environment for the entertainments industry, to facilitate direct contact between artistes and venues nationwide. Unlike entertainment agencies Blazestars does not take any commission from performers or have any restrictions on repeat performances. Bookings can be made online and will be made directly between the artiste and the venue with no fees or commissions!!!
Blazestars are an independent online community for anyone involved in the entertainments industry.
We provide a means for artistes to advertise themselves free of charge and be directly in contact with the venues that book them providing an equal advertising opportunity.
Venues are able to search for artistes for their venue in their own time and to suit them. No pressure sales to book a years entertainment in advance.
We offer a service to venues and businesses who register in the directory, that enables them to notify members of Blazestars about promotions that they have.
As it is important to both artistes and venues to have legal cover for performances, Blazestars offers a unique online booking and contract system ensuring that you are still legally covered.
We are NOT an entertainments agency or management company. We believe that an artiste should be in control of their own destiny and not have to lose any of their hard earned money in agency fees or commissions. In addition venues should be able to book artistes directly and not be tied in to agency contracts restricting you to the agency for following performances.
How safe is my information?
Blazestars will not pass your details onto any third party companies for any purpose. Blazestars takes appropriate measures to ensure the information you provide. Your account information is located on a secure server behind a firewall. All payments are taken via PayPal and through a secure SSL connection.
Who can view my information?
The information you provide on your profile will be display to any users viewing the Blazestars website. Your contact details will only be displayed to logged in members on the website (Excluding bronze artistes)..
How do I upgrade my account?
1. To upgrade your membership to be able to enjoy more of the Blazestars features please go to your “My Apps” section of your profile and then select Subscriptions.
2. You can then select the level you require and follow the on screen instructions.
How do I cancel my membership
1. To cancel your Blazestars membership please click on the ‘Contact Us’ link and in the subject line please enter, ‘Unsubscribe’.
2. Please provide the email address you registered with as this will identify your account.
3. Please allow five working days for your account to be cancelled.
How do I join Blazestars?
1. To join Blazestars please click on the ‘Signup Today’ button.
2. Select the type of membership account
3. Next select your membership.
4. Fill in your account details.
5. Next you can then create your profile.
Problems trying to login / forgotten username or password
1. Please ensure you are correctly typing the email address and password.
2. Please check you are using the correct email address if you have multiple email accounts.
3. If you have cancelled your membership or have not paid the subscription fees your account will have been removed. If you wish to be a member again please re-join.
4. If you are certain that you are entering a correct and valid email address please contact us.
Forgotten Password
If you have forgotten your password simply click on the ‘forgotten password’ link below the login box.
How to update my status?
1. Log into your account.
2. Click ‘Profile’ on the account menu.
3. Next click ‘Update’ on the left hand side in the status box.
How to add music
1. Log into your account.
2. Click ‘My Music’ on the menu on the left hand side.
3. Next click ‘Upload New Track’.
4. Then enter the name of the track, description, attach music file and click the ‘add’ button.
5. A message will appear on screen saying upload successful.
How to view Photos
1. To view pictures in the gallery you need to click on the image on the left hand side of the profile.
2. A new pop up box will open with an enlarge picture.
3. To go to the next photo move the mouse cursor to the right hand side of the picture and a ‘next’ button will appear.
4. Click the ‘next’ button to go through the photos.
5. To go back through the photos move the mouse cursor towards the left hand side of the photos and a ‘previous’ button will appear.
